(Tashiro) May 25/55 NEWS FLOOD IN OAKVILLE WATER RUSHES OVER HIGHWAY- Flood waters from the overflowing La Salle River pour over the highway two and a half miles north of Oakville, cutting the connections between Poplar Point and Oakville. The water is coursing east on its way to Elie district. This is one of the many places where the road is covered by the muddy water which has originally come from the Assiniboine.
