(Vopni) March 24th, 1973 MINOR HOCKEY OAKVILLE WINS MANITOBA PEEWEE “D” TITLE Oakville Flyers won the Manitoba Pee Wee D hockey championship Sunday at Carman. They defeated Clearwater 7-3 after winning the opening game of the best-of-three series 6-4 at Oakville. Frank Mckinnon, MAHA president, on the extreme right, presented the championship shield to the winners, the first time it has been up for competition. Kneeling in the front from the left are Ted Galbraith, Pat Blight, Eric Tully and Blair Nicholls. Back row are Robert Dufresne, Darryl Barker, Randy Kuryk, Doug Bailey, Kevin Blight, Darren Dalrymple, Jim Lowden, and Chris Blight. Coach Ken Blight is standing at the rear.
