MacDonald Scouts

Benny Yurkiw the first Queen Scout in the history of MacDonald.

Members of the First Macdonald Scout Troop and Wolf Cub Pack during their annual Parent's Night program held last Friday night. The Group leaders seated in the centre of the picture are, left to right: Baloo K, James, Akela, Rev. J. I. Bowman, Scouter Fred Dyer.

The first Queen Scout in the history of Macdonald, Benny Yurkiw, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Yurkiw, receives his Queen Scout badge from his father. The presentation was made Friday night at the annual Parent's Night program staged in Macdonald community hall. This was the third annual Parents' Night presented by the group. Also in the picture is Scouter Fred Dyer, DSM, Scout-master of the Troop.
