Tashiro September 15 1969 Little League KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS RECOGNIZES COACHES OF LODGE SPONSORED LITTLE LEAGUE GIANTS AND THE RED SOXES Knights of Columbus Monday night presented tokens of appreciation to three coaches who guided Little League teams in the city leagues. In the photo are, from the left: K. of C. family activities chairman Larry Shepard, Red Sox’ coach Orval Edgeworth, Giants’ coaches Bill “Lefty” Kitson and Claire Cook, and Frank Besplug, assistant to Mr. Shepherd. Presentation of trophies to the coaches were made in conjunction with the special party the local Knights held for the Little League ballplayers at the K. of C. Hall.
