Reb Barons, Portage's representative for this weekend's Bantam (10-12) girls softball provincial playoffs, took time out from a strenuous workout this week for this picture. Kneeling (left to right), Leslie Marks, Sharon Lafrance, Joanne Mucha, Pam Carson and Jill McLaughlin. Standing (left to right), Beverley Nicholson, Shannon O'Neil, Kim Strong and Betty Ferris. Missing from the picture, Debbie Hebner and Gisele Martin and coaches John Chudzik, Phyllis Nicholson and Sharon Ferguson. The tourney opens Saturday noon with games at Rotary diamond and Island Park. Sunday's action also begins at noon with all Sunday's games being played at Rotary diamond.
