Southport "Dust Bowl" Event Winners

Bill Paterson, skip of the winning rink at the annual Southport Dust Bowl signs the papers to make it all official as club president Ken Pirt looks on.

The Bill Paterson rink, winner of the Ideal Van Lines event, top feature at the Southport curling club's annual Dust Bowl bonspiel over the weekend. Offering congratulations on the left and right are Ken Pirt and Corky Hansen of the Southport club. Team members from the left are Gordon Tidsbury, Don Ediger, Jim Moorhouse, and Bill Paterson.

Reg Tomalin's rink, winner of the second event, the Custom Mobile Homes, at the Southport curling club's annual Dust Bowl bonspiel over the weekend. From the left are Brian Hyde, Ron Russell, Harold Painter and Reg Tomalin. Harvey Harlton made the presentations to the winner.
