Rural Children Await For Salk Vaccination
This is a small portion of the children from the Rural Municipality of Portage who Wednesday morning received first and second shots of Salk Polio vaccine in the Rural Hall from Dr. T. W. D. Miller. There were 79 children in the six and seven-year-old age group who received the second shot of vaccine and 48 eight-year-olds received their first shot. Second shots will be given June 15 to any children who have not received them.
