News - Caravan of American Can Company Truck Arrives in City at about Same Times Strike Ended
A six trailer caravan carrying tins for the Campbell soup company plant in Portage la Prairie arrived Friday afternoon, first shipment since the week-long strike. The caravan left the American Can Company plant in Simcoe, Ontario at 5:00 PM on Tuesday and arrived at the Delta Warehouse here about the same time Friday, four hours after railway employees answered a back to work order.
