New method — The Cuisenaire Method of teaching arithmetic in primary grades is demonstrated here by Mrs. W. Reid at Prince Charles school. Two classes in Portage are experimenting with the method, Mrs. W. Buggey having a similar grade at Victoria school. The demonstration this week was the first opportunity that Portage parents have had of seeing the new trend in education.
