50th wedding anniversary — Mr. and Mrs. R. Thynne, shown here, observed their golden wedding anniversary February 25 at their home in the Elm River district. All members of the family were home for the occasion, including Mr. and Mrs. Howard Coates of Calgary; Harold of Ottawa; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Thynne, Jennifer and Wendy and Mr. and Mrs. Don Thynne and family all of London, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. Wes Thompson and family of Westbourne; and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Phipps and family of Sanford.
