Education

New south-east elementary school construction

The weatherman has been in his most co-operative mood lately and is smiling on contractors in Portage la Prairie. Here the footings and foundations for the new elementary school in the south east of the city are already in -- thanks to good weather -- and the progress on construction has been termed as "excellent". It is anticipated that the new structure will be available for the fall term in 1969.
