Birthday cake from the Church of Christ ladies was one of the ways Mrs. Eliza Balmer marked her 105th birthday Monday at Holiday Retreat. Portage la Prairie’s eldest resident, Mrs. Balmer is still keen in mind and enjoyed the day with a few old friends who called to visit.
