S. H. (Deac) Prowse celebrated his 85th birthday Friday and curling colleagues in the men’s senior league threw a birthday party for him. Mrs. Marg Spriggs on the left, who operates the curling rink canteen, donated a cake and she is shown here helping him cut it. Mr. Prowse curls regularly on Rod McLeod’s rink.
