Helping Hand organization - First “meals-on-wheels” delivered from Manor
First meals delivered
Portage Helping Hand’s “meals-on-wheels” for senior citizens got under way Monday at noon from the Lions Prairie Manor. The piping hot meals were delivered in boxes at the start but will be replaced by special plastic containers when they arrive. Making the first deliveries was Bert Tully, partly hidden and “homemaker” Mrs. Zennia Semchyshyn and helper Kerry Mason, right.
