City council - Gerry Cobbe sworn in as councillor - Retiring employee receives cheque

City staff retirement — Lucas Swidnicki, centre, received his retirement cheque this week from city council. Mr. Swidnicki, a water works department employee, was congratulated by chairman, Ald. A. R. Barrett, right. The cheque was presented by Mayor H. L. Henderson.
