New Years baby - Jill Kathleen Anderson born 12.31 a.m. New Years morning
First in ‘69… Jill Kathleen Anderson, an eight pound, one and one-half ounce bundle of joy, was the first baby born in 1969 at the Portage General Hospital. The daughter of Lieutenant and Mrs. Dwight Anderson came into the world at 12.37 a.m. New Year’s Day. It was a particularly pleasing occasion for the Andersons — their first child. Jill Kathleen receives a host of gifts from Portage merchants for her timely arrival.
