Queen Elizabeth scholarship winner Beverly Owens
Presentation of the Queen Elizabeth scholarship is made to Miss Beverley Owens of Portage la Prairie by Ald. W. H. Vopni. The presentation was made Friday evening at the last meeting of the Portage city council for 1960. Mayor H. L. Henderson looks on. The scholarship marks the occasion of the Royal Visit to Portage la Prairie of Queen Elizabeth in 1959. Miss Owen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Owens of this city.
