Dorcas ladies receive $100 from Burlap Den coffee house
The Dorcas Society, which earlier this week discovered its 1968 campaign for funds trickled over the top, received a healthy boost Friday. Folk Episode ‘68, a Boxing Day concert performed by artists from the Burlap Den coffee house, netted the society $100. Making the presentation of the cheque — appropriately in the form of a guitar — to Mrs. Lois Forsythe of the Dorcas Society are Rick Poltaruk and Linda Sanderson.
