The aftermath of a June 23, 1922 wind storm in Southern Manitoba.

According to newspaper reports, the Portage la Prairie area was the worst hit. It destroyed small buildings, flattened crops, crops and cut off electricity and telephone service. This West End house, which still stands, obviously couldn't handle the storm.
