La Verandrye [La Verendrye]
‘My Friend Flicka‘ moved today from La Verendrye to North Memorial school. That's Flicka, part of the props for a show of that name to be presented next week by grade fives at La Verendrye. The class is doing the story based on the grade five reader. Abe Friesen wrote the play and the boys made the props, under supervision, as shown here. In the group moving the props today were, left to right, Barry Cote, Chris Bures, Don Brugger and Brent McAuley, seen here with Mr. Friesen. The troupe had to move to North Memorial since there is no auditorium in their own school.
