La Verandrye [La Verendrye] School official openning [opening]
Gordon Palmer, president of La Verendrye School literary society, cuts the ribbon to officially open the new school during ceremonies Tuesday night. At left is elementary school board chairman Dr. G. H. Lowther and at right is W. R. Inglis, chairman of property committee. La Verendrye is the newest school in the Portage la Prairie system.
