North Memorial School officially opened
Hon. W. C. Miller, Manitoba’s minister of education, cut the ribbon to officially open Portage’s new North Memorial school. The three-room school has housed students for some time now. Looking on in the above photo is School Trustee Clayton Short, who was chairman of the school opening ceremony.
