Belle Plain School - 1890 and 1965
The old and the new, and the new will disappear this summer. This is Belle Plain school, northwest of Portage, where a reunion of old and young is planned July 31. At top is a picture of the old school in the 1890s with its class, while below is the class of 1965, the last to use Belle Plain.
