B.C. Pea Growers Scholarship ($100) to Susan Lynn Hinds of Macdonald
Susan Lynn Hinds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Hinds of Macdonald, receives the B.C. Pea Growers Scholarship of $100 awarded annually by the Portage la Prairie firm. Making the presentation on behalf of the firm is F. C. Metcalfe, vice-principal of Portage Collegiate Institute. The scholarship is awarded for highest average attained in the June departmental examinations in grade 11. The recipient must be the son or daughter of parents who make their livelihood solely from agriculture and is available to students in the Portage la Prairie area.
