N.E.S. upgrading class - Graduating diploma

Upgrading classes — Jack Klassen congratulates Diane Cady upon successful completion of Level Il Basic Training for skill development as Mrs. V. Bird, teacher, looks on. Mrs. [sic] Klassen, special services officer of the local National Employment Service, stated that the 14 graduates at 118 Saskatchewan Avenue East will find excellent employer acceptance of their upgrading. Most of them are continuing their studies in various trades and pre-vocational classes in Winnipeg and Brandon. Twenty-six new students enrolled this week in the fourteen week program sponsored jointly by the province of Manitoba and the government of Canada.
