Victoria School recognition

Trophies and scholarships presented at the Victoria School Achievement Day to (from the left), Judy Greenslade, Beaver Lumber trophy, grade 7; Sheila Brown, Portage Garage trophy, grade 7; Ken Sloik, grade 8 Home and School scholarship; Clarice Cherkas, also grade 8 Home and School scholarship; and Jackie Rabkin, grade 6 Home and School Trophy. Seated in front, Barbara Pehura and Tim Green, winners of the grade 6 Shindleman trophy. Missing from the picture are Fred Bereza, winner of the I. H. Greenberg grade 8 trophy; Heather Gamey, winner of Mayfair Enterprises grade 8 trophy, and Muriel Swayne and Ted Webster, winners of the grades 7 and 8 Literary Society's athletic trophies. Occasion was also taken to recognize excellence, proficiency, outstanding achievement or high academic achievement in each room in the school.
