Southside Auxiliary presents $600 to building funds
A $600 cheque to help pay for renovations to the Southside Athletic Club was presented to Clare Cook, president of the club by Mrs. [sic] Chas. Fempel, retiring president of the Southside Ladies’ Auxiliary. Renovations costing about $2,400 have been made to the club house recently. To the right of Mrs. Fempel is Mrs. Orpan, the newly elected president of the ladies’ auxiliary. Grouped in the background are members of the two executives.
