West End Community Hall group gives $100 each to Can. Cancer Society, Heart Foundation
Two donations
The board of directors of the West End Community Hall have made contributions each to both the Canadian Cancer Society and the Manitoba Heart Foundation. From left to right are Miss Nancy Kerman, secretary and Mrs. Mae Porter, treasurer of the West End Hall board, Morris Boychuk president and Hugh McKinnon, treasurer of the Portage Unit of the Can. Cancer Society. Mr. Boychuk accepts on behalf of the Cancer Society and Mr. McKinnon, who is manager of the Bank of Montreal accepts on behalf of the Heart Fund.
