1970 West End winter carnival Queen, Beverly Tomalin, centre, and her Princesses, Valerie Rogers, left, and Debby Byerlay, right. The Queen crowning ceremony preceded an all-day annual program Sunday afternoon at the community club, including races, costume judging, novelty races, candie [sic] scramble and numerous hockey games.
