West End annual carnival - Glenda Smith - Queen

West End Community Club's annual carnival held Sunday was capped with the crowning of Glenda Smith, centre, back row, as the 1966 Queen. She was crowned by Beverly Nicholson, right, last year's Queen, while Diane Smith, left, West End's color bearer in the Winter Fun Festival Queen Competition placed the ribbon on her younger sister. In the front row are the other candiadtes [sic]. From the left, they are: Brenda Lenton, Kathy Campbell, Linda Pappas, Marlene Olson, and Connie Gray.
