These two students at La Verandrye [La Verendrye] school were at work Thursday night putting the finishing touches to a huge curling stone as part of this weekend's annual Winter Fun Festival in Portage la Prairie. There are numerous creations at city public school grounds. In most cases, motorists can view them from the comfort of warm cars.
