Diane Catharine Cushing and Douglas Terrace Samels, whose engagement has been announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cushing. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Samels of Portage la Prairie, Man. The wedding will be June 23 in St. Paul St. United Church, St. Catharines, Ont.
