A.N.A.F. hosts World War I veterans
The songs, the stories and endless reminisces of a war of more than 50 years ago were revived Monday night when the Portage unit of the ANAF hosted veterans of the First World War at a dinner and social evening at the Vimy hall. More than 55 veterans were on hand for the dinner, catered to by the Ladies Auxiliary. All from Portage and district, they're looking forward already to next year's reunion.
