"March of Dimes" "Meet and Banquet"

March of Dimes campaign in Portage la Prairie is again spearheaded by the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion under the chairmanship of Doug Muirhead. The kick-off banquet held Tuesday night at the Legion Hall attracted a capacity crowd. Monsignor Norman Chartrand, president of the Society for Crippled Children and Adults of Manitoba was the speaker.
