Hydro clears away fallen hydro pole

Hydro pole hits sign…

Manitoba Hydro workmen were out Monday at about 3.30 p.m. to clear away a hydro pole that had been snapped off at its base. The pole was hit by a bulldozer and as it went down it angled its way through the business sign in front of Bill's Shoe Shop, 45 Tupper Street North just next to the provincial government building under construction. The crew had the pole down and out of the way in short order.
