A WINNIPEG MINISTER was appointed moderator of the Ontario and Manitoba Syrod of the Presbyterian Church during sessions in the city last week. The appointment of Rev. J. H. Bishop of St. James Presbyterian Church was made during meetings here. The church has eight Canadian synods. Rev. Bishop is also moderator of the church's Winnipeg Presbytery.
