PENNANT WINNERS -1970 PORTAGE MOLSON’S CANADIANS 1970 Central Manitoba Fastball playoff champions won the title by defeating the defending champions Portage Seals four straight in their best-of-seven final. Pictured from left to right in the back row are coach Reg Isaacs, Perry Allan, Cliff Calder, Wayne Demman, Hugh Moran, manager Joe Bruce and John Vopni. Front row (left to right) Jerry Attwood, John Haves, Bruce Buschau, Wayne Richardson, Doug Lund and Paul Miller. As playoff winners they won the Joe Chenier trophy while they also won the Clayton Edmondson trophy for finishing in first place in the league. Inset between Isaacs and Allan is Bill Human.
