CITY"S CENOTAPH RE-ERECTED
GINGERLY LOWERED onto its new foundation, the city's war memorial was put back into place this morning. Despite the tremendous weight of marble and cement, the placing went without a hitch onto a heavy steel reinforced foundation. Work started on the project last fall.
