Vopni June 18 1974 Minor Baseball ROTARY INDIANS CLIP LIONS YANKEES TO WIN MOSUITO BASEBALL TITLE Big Winners | Rotary Indians won it all this year in the Mosquito league as they captured first place with a 9-1 record and emerged the city champions with a play-off victory over Lion Yankees. Receiving the Wesley Hannah Memorial Trophy, symbolic of first place in the league are Coaches Doug Simpson (left) and Wayne McWhirter. The trophy was donated by Mrs. Hannah. The Mosquito league playoff championship trophy (not shown) was presented by Garland and Wilson. Members of the winning team, from left to right, in the front row are Randy Romanow, Terri Burke, Robert Leblanc, Donny Mitchell, Eric Krawetz, Scott Dewis and Gordie Fraser. In the second row from left to right are Bobby Van Dine, Fred King, Ian Elgert, Kelly Cobber and Kevin Brooks. Missing from the picture is K. Pawson. Ball Finalists | Lion Yankees came close to winning the Garland and Wilsom trophy as the city Mosquito champions but they were beat out in the final game by the Rotary Indians. The city runner-ups from left to right in the front row include John May, Kendell Kirkwood, Andy Yonda, allan Wagner and Feron Nickels. The back row from left to right includes Shaun McIntosh, Trevor Williams, Ken Kreutzer, Wilfred Lake and Phillip Noel. The teams coach, at the back, is Bill Glaspell
