Militia Long Services And awards Presentations

Long And Efficient Service in Canadas armed forces as a member of regular army and local militia unit was recognized this week. WO2 C. W. Darragh of the 38th Feild Artillery Battery (SP) RCA, here receives the clasp to the Canadian Forces Decoration. Ly. Col. A. H. Innes, commanding officer, Target Area Headquarters at Portage, made the presentation during a speacial parade at the 38th Battery drill hall. Shown in background is Major V. H. Dyer, officer commanding the 38th Battery.

The Canadian Forces Decoration was presented this week to two members of the 38th Battery in Portage. Here Sgt. E. J. Ringash recieves the congratulations of Lt. Col. A. H. Innes during a special parade at the battery drill hall, while Sgt. J. H. Smith, at right, looks on.

Certificate Of Qualification on successfully completing an Ncos course is presented by Lt. Col. A. H. Innes, commanding officer, Target Area Headquarters in Portage, to Sgt. D. Byas of the 38th Feild Artillery Battery (SP) RCA. The presentation was carried out along with a number of others during a special parade in the city this week.
