Beechcraft 'Belly Lands' At Flying Club Feild

A Bent Prop was the only damage to this Beechcraft Bonanza which "belly landed" at Portage Flying Club Thursday. V. V. Myland, Jr. , pilot, at left, and his father, both of Minneapolis, inspect the plane.

This Twin Engined Supercharged seven passanger Beechcraft Bonanza is the laargest plane ever to land on the Portage Flying Club air strip here. From Chicago, it brought in a party of hunters.

First Amphibian able to land either on the ground or water to visit the Portage Flying Club is this Cessna 180 shown tied down against high winds at the landing strip in the north west of the city.
