Lions Host Tri-Service Meeting
There was so much good-natured bantering going on at Thursday night's tri-service clubs meeting that Jack Shindleman and Jack Fraser, left and right, just had to get in on it in a personal way. Ed Shindleman and Jack Pelechaty are apparently taking no sides (officially), but getting a kick out of it all anyway.
"We're ready" declared Annis Stukus Thursday of the World Hockey Association's plans for a 1972 start. Big Stuke is Winnipeg Jets' general manager and he outlined plans to a tri-service meeting here Thursday night.
