Military Ball

Lieutenant Governor Errick F. Willis and Mrs. Willis pass through the receiving line at the reception which preceded the annual military ball here Friday evening. Here Mr. Willis is greeted by Mrs. V. H. Dyer. Also seen are Capt. Dyer and Major A. G. Hussey, at the extreme right.

Former Portagers Mr. and Mrs. E. W. James, at right, now of Listowell, Ont., were among guests Friday at the annual military ball. They were greeted by Lt. Col. W. Burton, commanding officer of the local militia unit, and Mrs. Burton.

Two former commanding officers of the 26th Field Artillery Regiment were among guests at the annual military ball here Friday. Shown above are left to right, Lt. Col. and Mrs. W. C. Taylor, Lt. Col. and Mrs. E. M. Brown, and Lt. and Mrs. Terry Greenlay.

Among guests at the annual military ball in Portage Friday were Area Commander Brigadier J. E. C. Pangman, at right, and Mrs. Pangman. Here they speak informally during the reception with Major A. G. Hussey, officer commanding the 38th Field Artillery Battery (SP) RCA in Portage.
