RUPP ON RETIREMENT Director’s dilemma | These members of the hoc choir which earlier this year produced Handel’s Messiah with Rev. D. D. Rupp directing, re-created one the rehearsals for the large crowd at the reception for Mr. Rupp Sunday. The director here, complete with exaggerated bow tie and pipe, is Mike Burroughs. Retirement Honors | William Bailey (left) and his little granddaughter, Lynn Brown, are seen here with Rec. C. D. Rupp following a presentation to Mr. Rupp at a reception marking his retirement. Mr. Bailey recalled the many services Mr. Rupp has given in his ministry and thanked him on behalf of all. Lynn made the presentation of a congregational gift. At left is Clayton Zimmerman, executive board chairman, who was master of ceremonies for the afternoon, and Mrs. Zimmerman, acting chairman of public relations, the committee which along with the worship committee planned the reception.
