Addie Bell Memorial Trophy Presented

South Side Bantams won the city bantam hockey championship Tuesday night at the Portage Arena with a 2-1 victory over Portage Minor Bantams. Mrs. Addie Bell is presenting the trophy to team captain Kerry Green. Kneeling in front, from the left are Gary Smith, Danny Frith, David Young, Harley Smith and Walter Dreidger. Directly behind Smith is Danny Friesen. Standing, from the left is Les Smith, manager, Tim Shewchuk, Stu Jackson, Bill Linden, partly hidden trainer John Jackson, Jeff Connery, Mrs. Bell, assistant coach Orest Shewchuk, Kevin Heath, Kerry Green, coach Lloyd Green, Gary Meeches and equipment manager Ben Driedger. Missing from the picture Wade Drain and Brent Lang.
