Centennial Buffalo-Burger, Fish Derby Sponsored By Chamber Of Commerce

The weather was fine, but the perch weren't biting Monday during the Thanksgiving fish derby in Crescent Lake. There were quite a few anglers out, including Centennial chairman Harvey Carmichael at left here. The perch were there, but the fishermen couldn't find them.

Almost 400 pounds of buffalo meat came and went Monday afternoon during the Thanksgiving barbecue sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. These are only five of more than 500 who turned up to sample the Centennial morsel at the Island Park pits.
