Portage School Division Curling Championship To A.M.H.S's Scott Howie Rink
The Scott Howie rink from Arthur Meighen High School were recently crowned curling champions of the Portage School Division High School League. The Howie quartet were league winners among Portage rinks and then defeated the Oakville champions for the title. Harold Braden, Portage Fire Chief presented the Firefighters Challenge Trophy to (l-r), Howie, George Kitson third, Melford Cumberland second and lead Gordon Green.
