Men's Curling - Patterson Rink

Bill Patterson's rink, defending champion of the Portage curling club title, receives the Shell Canada trophy which was put into competition by Collett - Large, the local Shell distributors. Club president Henry Riendeau is making the presentation. The Patterson rink will be one of a star-spangled field of 32 which takes part in the jousting for more than $5,000 in the Portage curling club's sixth annual bonspiel. The 'spiel goes to the post here Thursday afternoon. Other members of the rink are Jim Moorhouse, Don Ediger, and Gordon Tidsbury.
