Turnout Good At Lions Blood Donor Clinic

These three ladies, from the left, Carol Trainer and Bev Calverley from Winnipeg Red Cross headquarters, and Mrs. Esther Ross of Portage were a busy lot testing samples during Thursday's Lion organized blood donor clinic in the Trinity CE auditorium. Some 400, largest number in recent years, donated blood during the one day clinic.

397 local residents donated blood at the Portage Lions organized donor clinic Thursday in the Trinity CE auditorium. The sponsors were pleased with the response and the turnout of volunteers was the largest in recent appeals.
