Year-Long Centennial Celebration Capped with a Capsule Sealing Ceremony and Refreshments at City Hall
It was quite a year at the closing out ceremonies. Chairman Harvey Carmichael and Mayor W. A. Linden had an opportunity to look back and review the activities.
Centennial Souvenirs - Ald. Orest Pressey, chairman of city council's Centennial committee, handled his last official duties New Year's Eve.
Miss Centennial Everything in Portage la Prairie was Marg Clark, here helping out again at the final official function of the birthday year at city hall New Year's Eve.
